Terms of Use

By using TextWizard (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What TextWizard is

TextWizard is a free collection of text and code tools that run entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, and the text you enter is processed locally on your device — see the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the tools are accurate, error-free, or available at any given time. Always verify important results yourself.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors are not liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including any loss of data.

Acceptable use

Don't use TextWizard for anything unlawful, and don't attempt to disrupt or abuse the site or the infrastructure that serves it. The tools run in your browser; you are responsible for the content you process with them and for complying with any laws that apply to it.

Your content

You keep all rights to the text and files you use with the tools. Because everything runs locally, we never receive, store, or claim any rights to your content.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare and uses self-hosted, cookieless Plausible analytics for aggregate page-view counts. Their handling of basic request metadata is described in the Privacy Policy.

Open source & license

TextWizard is open source under the MIT License — you're free to use, modify, and redistribute the code under those terms. The source is on GitHub.

Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
